Police in Mombasa are investigating an incident in which a licensed gun holder was shot and killed before being robbed of the pistol in Nyali area.
Gideon Kuria who is a also a businessman in the area with a fleet of petrol stations was driving home after a night out when his car was blocked along Beach Road before he was removed out and shot at close range four times.
He tried to run away but fell few meters ahead as his killers ransacked his car and left with his weapon.
The motive of the shooting is yet to be known.
