Award-winning performing artiste and humanitarian Henry Ohanga widely known as Octopizzo postpones his album release in solidarity with the Nane Nane protesters.
In a statement shared on X, Octopizzo notified his fans that he had put his anticipated album release on hold.
The rapper further lamented how the county government took time to contain the massive inferno that razed down Toi Market in Kibera claiming lives and destruction of properties.
He added that it would be ironic for the government to use water gangsters to disperse peaceful protesters.
“Maji ya Kuzima Toi Market ilikosa for hours! Acha tuone kesho kama maji itakosa kwa ile gender reveal truck hao utuchapa Nayo#NaneNane. Album release on hold till further notice.,”Octopizzo revealed.
Namba Nane’s finest was scheduled to release his 8th studio album on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
