President Uhuru Kenyatta has reassured political opponents that he holds the key to GEMA’s 4 million plus votes.
While speaking in Sagana State Lodge, President Uhuru said that those fighting him in Mount Kenya should present a person who guarantees economic, political and social support to the region.
The abrasive President has moved to zone off the region politically, eject DP Ruto from the Mountain…and decide who rules Kenya.
Like the Moi – Saitoti scenario in 2002, Uhuru has hanged his deputy to dry. He wants GEMA to “negotiate” with a sober politician…Raila?’ Kalonzo or Mudavadi… but not Ruto.
Reason? Uhuru, analysts say cannot trust Ruto. He fears the Sugoi man will ship him back to the Hague, jail him and grab the Kenyatta family assets….over their fall out, And for good reasons.
DP Ruto is an extremely aggressive politician. He used Moi to acquire political relevance.
On a balance of probability, Ruto loved Moi more than he respects Uhuru. But he injured him, politically in 2007.
Uhuru fears the same fate will befall him in 2022, should Ruto become President.
The formula to STOP Ruto is to block him from accessing 40 per cent of the 4 million GEMA vote.
The support structure to this is to empower regional kingpins Kalonzo Musyoka,Musalia Mudavadi, Ali Hassan Joho and Dr. Fred Matiang’i. Then leave the DP to battle Raila Odinga.
His former ally for the reminder of the Nyanza, Rift Valley and Coast Province.
DP Ruto has not helped himself by amassing cash in billions and threatening the big boys.
