Parliament scraps pension rule

Workers can now access their pension funds instantly after vacating employment.

Parliament changed the law yesterday to allow the pensioners access to their cash upon retirement or sacking.

This means that workers with less than 50 years who lose or change jobs will now be able to access their employers pension as opposed to the earlier law that locked their savings until they reached 50.

The move will allow the employees to enjoy their sweat during the prime of their age.
