The Orange Democratic Party has called on party members interested in vying for the next batch of by-elections to submit their papers. – By Gerald Gekara.
The papers will then be subjected to party primaries where delegates will vote for their preferred candidates.
ODM Will be contesting for the Garissa senatorial seat, left vacant by the late Mohamed Yusuf Haji who died in February 2021.
Other seats include parliamentary seats for Bonchari and Juja constituencies.
the United Democratic Alliance on the other hand, has advertised for the primaries and would only participate in Bonchari, and Juja parliamentary posts, as well as the Rurii ward vote.
The Hustler Nation are coming from a win in London Ward, their first since the party was renamed.
Previously, the team led by the Deputy President supported independent candidate Bader for the Msambweni legislative seat.
