Fuel prices for the period of May 15 to June 14 have been increased by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
EPRA hiked the price of petrol by Ksh3.56, but diesel and kerosene prices remained unchanged from April.
According to the authority, the prices include an 8% Value Added Tax (VAT) in accordance with the Finance Act 2018, and the revised excise duty rates were adjusted for inflation in accordance with Legal Notice 194 of 2020.
Imported fuel prices have risen in the last 30 days, according to EPRA.
