A police officer rescued two little girls, ages 3 and 4, from a man who had kidnapped them from their house and was transporting them to an unknown location.
The innocent angels had been kidnapped from their home while they were playing by one Jackson Mutinda, 31, who was apprehended at a Shell petrol station along Langata road as he walked with the girls to an unknown location.
Chief Inspector Justine Ouya, an aircraft engineer with the National Police Service Airwing, had just returned from a troop resupply operation and was going along Langata Road when she came upon the man holding the two girls’ hands.
They were walking with the youngsters in the direction of Karen.
She immediately stopped the man and interrogated him. She also spoke to the minors and established that the man was not their father as he had alleged.

Chief Inspector Ouya immediately restrained the man and raised the duty officer based at Wilson Airport, who responded with a contingent of officers instantly.
When the abductor was interrogated, it was discovered that he had enticed the tiny angels away from their Muthurwa home by promising to buy them a soda.
The officers promptly embarked on a search for the children’ parents in Muthurwa. Judy Nyakio and Teresia Njeri, the angels’ devastated parents, were ultimately located after a few hours of searching for their missing daughters.
