A police Constable was arrested by Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI) detectives for stealing a solar panel.
The constable, Francis Wafula was arrested in Isinya Kajiado County for stealing the solar panel belonging to a resident of Oloosirikona.
According a statement by the DCI on Twitter, the victim raised alarm that an unknown man had stormed to his compound and made away with the property.
The detectives then rushed to his residence where they arrested the suspect and recovered the solar panel.
Wafula is a police Constable attached to Lafey in Mandera County.
He will remain in Police custody awaiting to be charged with the offense of stealing.
