A gang operating under the guise of taxi operators have been arrested in connection with an incident where a woman was robbed off her belongings.
According t0 a police report seen by Uzalendo News, the woman had bordered a Toyota Vitz vehicle, enroute to Mwea.
Three occupants in the vehicle however pulled out knives and demanded the lady hand over her phone and cash.
The suspects also took the lady’s mobile phone MPESA details and robbed her off 13,000/-
Upon making the report to authorities, detectives from the DCI unit tracked the vehicle, which was found at Kahawa Sukari.
The vehicle was found alongside a spanner, knife and a four mobile phones.
The suspects, including the vehicle’s owner have been detained for lawful processing.
