BY PRUDENCE WANZA – A Police officer was yesterday arraigned in court for attempting to kill one Maureen Adoyo by shooting her with a firearm.
He is alleged to have committed the crime on the 10th of May 2019 at capital hill police canteen in upperhill area in Nairobi.
The accused, Charles Kiwerwa pleaded not guilty before Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku at Milimani Law Courts.
He was released on a bond of Sh. 500,000 or an alternative cashbail of Sh. 500,000.
The case will be heard on 11th June, 2019 and the mention on 27th May, 2019.
