Police officers from Obama Police Station in Kayole Sub-County have recovered items believed to have been stolen from a church in Mowlem, Nairobi, following an early morning patrol operation.
According to police reports, officers on routine patrol in the Mwengenye Saika area became suspicious after spotting two individuals carrying luggage along Dandora Bridge. Upon noticing the officers, the suspects abandoned the items and fled the scene.

A search of the recovered luggage revealed assorted household goods, electronic equipment and a metal bar suspected to have been used to break into a premises.
Preliminary investigations have since established that the items were stolen from Full Gospel Mission Church located in the Mowlem Powerline area.
Police say efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest the suspects, with investigations continuing.
