The Ministry of Health reported on Thursday, April 15, that 1,091 people had tested positive for Covid-19, making the positivity rate 18.3 percent out of a total sample size of 5,958.
In Kenya, the total number of confirmed positive Covid-19 cases is now 149,219. The total number of studies performed so far is 1,584,731.
Four deaths have been registered in the last 24 hours, which is unfortunate. This brings the total number of deaths to 2,424.
Simultaneously, 392 patients have recovered from the disease, with 257 coming from Home-Based and Isolation Care and 135 from different health facilities.
At this stage, there have been 100,637 recoveries.
There are currently 1,603 patients in different health facilities throughout the country, with 5,757 patients on Home Based Isolation and Care.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has 261 patients, 44 of which are on ventilatory support and 167 on supplemental oxygen. A total of 50 patients are being monitored.
