President William Ruto has stated that he will be brutal in his fight against corruption in Kenya.
While stating that Kenyans must receive value for every tax dollar paid, the President stated that no one found guilty of graft will be spared his wrath, not even his buddies.
“No one will steal or squander public funds.” “I will confront them head on,” he stated, adding that his deeds will speak louder than his words.
“I will take personal responsibility for accounting for the resources of the people of Kenya,” he assured
He made the statements on Friday during the burial of David Wawer Ng’ethe, the father of Dagoretti South Member of Parliament John Kiarie.
President Ruto recently cracked the whip and suspended government officers, including Health Services PS Josephine Mburu at KEBS and KEMSA for alleged shady dealings.
