President Ruto To Deliver First State Of The Nation Address At 2:30pm

President William Ruto is today set to address a joint session of the National Assembly and Senate in what is referred to as the State of the Nation Address.

Speakers of both Houses, Moses Wetangula (National Assembly) and Amason Kingi (Senate), hence called on all members of the two Parliamentary institutions to avail themselves on the said date at 2:30pm. 

This would be Ruto’s first state of the nation address since he took over the office.

Kenyans are eagerly waiting for the address and are hopeful that the president will focus on a number of issues that affect their day to day lives.

The Head of State will also report the progress in realization of national values, international obligations and the status of the country’s national security.

Kenyans across the country want the President to address the pressing issue facing our country including; the government’s strategy to lower the high cost of living, and the thorny issue of insecurity.

The State of the Nation Address provides the President with a platform to address the issues facing the country and the steps being taken to build the Kenyan nation.
