President William Ruto was present as the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) papers were administered to candidates at Joseph Kangethe Primary School in Kibra, Nairobi.
The head of state was accompanied by Cabinet Secretaries for Education Ezekiel Machugu and Interior Kithure Kindiki, as well as other education stakeholders.

Ruto expressed confidence in all of the arrangements made by education stakeholders for grade 8 and form four students.
“This is a very important moment for us as a nation. We want to ensure the exam is administered in the best way possible. We want to ensure, all administrators, head teachers have been given adequate security to make sure all our children sitting for their exams are not distracted,” said the President as he wished the candidates success in their examinations.
