Since the passing of the Queen, Prince William and Kate have inherited a “secret” residence tucked away in rural Wales.
King Charles 15 years ago purchased the vast, historic estate in a region of Carmarthenshire.
The former Prince of Wales and his wife Queen Consort Camilla frequented the peaceful farmhouse where they even made friends with the locals.
Around St. David’s Day every March, they would most frequently relocate to the house on the Llwynywermod Estate outside of Myddfai, close to Llandovery, according to WalesOnline.
Charles would be busy at this time with duties in and around Wales.
The Duch of Cornwall purchased the estate in 2007 for an alleged price of £1.2 million.
The estate, which consists of three cottages, a Grade-II listed barn, and the main house, was used by Charles and Camilla to take vacations amidst 192 acres of the Welsh countryside.
Before choosing Llwynywermod, which can be rented out in parts by families or couples seeking a relaxing getaway, Charles reportedly spent up to 40 years looking for the ideal country retreat.
Myddfai’s citizens have been complimentary of the new King since the death of the Queen.
They claim that he would quietly attend church on Sunday mornings, donated items for community raffles, and also dedicated the new village hall.
