PSG, Man City, Spurs hammer opponents in thrilling Champions league night

Club Brugge 0-5 Paris Saint-Germain (Group A)

Kylian Mbappe scored a second-half hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 5-0 win over Club Brugge in Tuesday’s Champions League Group A clash.

Mbappe was introduced seven minutes into the second half and put the game out of Brugge’s reach,,, including an assist.

Olympiacos 2-3 Bayern Munich (Group B)

Robert Lewandowski netted twice as Bayern Munich came from behind to clinch a 3-2 win over a strong Olympiacos in Champions League Group B on Tuesday.

Bayern have taken one point from their past two Bundesliga matches but made it three wins from three in Europe thanks to Lewandowski’s predatory instincts after Youssef El-Arabi put Olympiacos in front.

Manchester City 5-1 Atalanta (Group C)

Steering Nine points out of nine, Manchester City thrashed Atlanta 5-1. Raheem Sterling, helped himself to a hat-trick, while Sergio Agüero’s double kick-started the comeback.

Spurs 5-0 Red Star Belgrade (Group B)

Tottenham Hotspur finally kick-started their Champions League campaign in style by overwhelming Red Star Belgrade.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side needed to produce a response after they were thrashed 7-2 at home by Bayern Munich in their last Group B game and after losing a two-goal lead to draw with Olympiakos in the opening round of matches.

Galatasaray 0-1 Real Madrid (Group A)

An early strike from Toni Kroos held up for Real Madrid, who downed Galatasaray 1-0 in Champions League Group A action on Tuesday night at the Turk Telecom Stadium in Instanbul, Turkey.

With the result, Los Blancos rose to second place in the group with three matchdays to play.

It was Real Madrid’s best outing of the young European season and, with some better finishing, the scoreline could have been much bigger.
