Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has refuted claims that a committee has been formed in the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party to find a running mate for Raila Odinga.
Kalonzo claims that he, Raila Odinga, and the President are in talks about how the coalition will choose its number two.
“Kenyans please relax and let God shape the affairs and destiny of this nation. Stop the conspiracies, stealing, and thieving. We believe that we can buy leadership by coming up with a concoction to manipulate the minds of people.”
Kalonzo claimed that running mate is not about numbers but about experience and service delivery.
He spoke at the Liberty Redeemed Gospel Church in South B for the Easter Sunday fete.
His sentiments come at the backdrop of a section of Wiper leaders threatening to walk out of the Azimio coalition if Kalonzo is not declared a running mate.
