Deputy President planned tour to Luo Nyanza gathered steam on Monday with a delegation from Siaya, Kibra and Kisumu paying him a visit.
The tour is hyped by the nabbing of former Raila Odinga think tank and Kibra parliamentary aspirant in the by elections Eliud Owalo.
Ruto visit is also expected to capitalize on the Embattled Migori governor Okoth Obado wars, who has since fallen out with ODM.
Eliud Owalo announced his decision to join the Ruto 2022 presidential camp led the delegation from, the Luo region to plan DP Rutos tour that could be scheduled for next week.
His declaration on Monday during a meeting at Ruto’s Karen residence came a month after he quit ANC citing the need to allow Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi the latitude to make critical decisions ahead of the 2022 presidential poll.
Owalo, in statement, said the country needs a decisive, responsive, all-inclusive and participatory leadership anchored on people centric values and social justice.
“My humble submission therefore is that we need a decisive; progressive; responsive; all-inclusive; and participatory leadership anchored on people-centric values; social justice; recognition of human rights guided by the rule of law; and responsiveness to the challenges facing the common Mwananchi,” he stated.

“We will take Ruto everywhere in Nyanza and I can assure you he will get votes when elections are held,” Owalo said.
In Migori, he plans to visit areas where he has enjoyed some support and also show support for embattled Governor Okoth Obado who is facing various charges ranging from murder to corruption.
