President Ruto said that the area must have a coordinated approach to confront terrorism and related activities.
He stated that leaders have the ability to establish stable civilizations and ensure the well-being of the people through collaborative efforts.
The President spoke on Wednesday in Mogadishu at the Somalia Frontline States Summit about regional efforts to stabilize Somalia and eradicate terrorism.
He urged the Somali people to rise up bravely and reclaim their nation from the terrorist group al-Shabaab.
President Ruto praised local residents for their “very daring and extraordinary” participation in combating al Shabaab terrorists.
