The Cabinet approved new guidelines on the terms and conditions of service for State Corporation board members and staff.
The Cabinet stated that these rules were consistent with President William Ruto’s recent directives on fiscal consolidation and management of State Corporations.
The new policy also aligns the agencies’ terms and conditions of service with the requirements of the Constitution and other laws.
As a result, the updated standards will establish wage bands and allowances for CEOs, board members, Vice-Chancellors, Chancellors, and members of university councils.
President Ruto presided over the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday at State House Nairobi.
