President William Ruto has cautioned government agencies against suing one another, claiming that doing so results in exorbitant legal fees that could be avoided.
He stated that any government agency that takes a counterpart to court will not use public funds to pay the legal fees.
“I have already given very clear instructions to government ministries and departments who, for some reason, take each other to court and end up paying huge resources to lawyers. “Any government agency that takes its counterpart to court will pay with their own money,” Dr. Ruto stated.
