Key counters at the Nairobi Stock Exchange(NSE) declined slightly at the close of business on Wednesday 8th April.
According to a senior dealer at Standard Investment Bank(SIB), Safaricom plc shares closed at Sh. 26, KCB at 34.4 and Equity at Sh.33.30.
On Tuesday 7th, Safaricom closed at 26.75, KCB at Sh. 34.70 and Equity at 33.60. The depression is attributed to economic fears triggered by the Coronavirus.
