Samburu residents are on high alert after an unexploded bomb was found by children herding cattle in a nearby field.
According to witnesses, the children spotted the bomb and reported the findings to their parents who then informed the Police officers.
The area has been codorned off, as police investigates the explosive material, which is believed to be active.
Locals urged military to train locals who would patrol fields in search of such explosives, should any turn fatal.
