BY PRUDENCE WANZA – Sarah Wairimu, a suspect in Tob Cohen’s murder has been allowed to attend the funeral of her late husband.
The court has ordered that the OC Langata women’s prison escorts Wairimu to the Jewish cemetery this afternoon.
Wairimu through her lawyer Philip Murgor, had asked the court through an application to allow her to attend Tob’s funeral.
“I’m happy that parties in this matter have reached an agreement which makes the work of this court easier,”stated justice Stella Mutuku in her ruling .
Mutuku further ordered that Wairimu be returned to the Langata women’s prison after the funeral pending her appearance in court on 26th September to take plea.
Tob Cohen’s funeral will take place at the Jewish cemetery on Wangari Mathai road in Nairobi according to his last wishes.
