Saudi Mogul In Race To Own Chelsea

A mouth-watering bid to take over Chelsea has been fronted by a Saudi Media group spearheaded by Mohamed Alkhereiji.

The Saudi Media proposal for Chelsea includes intentions to renovate Stamford Bridge and prolong the contracts of important players such as Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta.

The organization isn’t simply interested with keeping the men’s senior squad competing for the greatest titles.

Saudi Media also plans to continue extensively investing in the London club’s academy at Cobham Training Centre, as well as the women’s squad.

Mohamed Alkhereiji, the CEO of the parent business Engineer Holding Group, which was founded by his father Abdulelah AlKhereiji, is the man driving the proposal.

Alkhereiji spent three years in the United Kingdom, where he attended Cass Business School and worked at Deutsche Bank.

He was also present the last time Abramovich appeared at Stamford Bridge, in November, for the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

Alkhereiji and his children are Chelsea supporters, which is why he is so eager to buy the club.

He does, however, principally support Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, for whom he constructed a new, cutting-edge stadium at Mrsool Park.

Saudi Media, in addition to its involvement with Al Nassr, also works with Al Hilal, whom Chelsea met in the Club World Cup last month.

Saudi Media is the Middle East’s largest media conglomerate, with holdings in advertising, hotels, finance, and sports.

The corporation has a yearly revenue of $1 billion (£770 million), giving it the potential to be a major factor in English football.

It is worth mentioning, however, that Saudi Media’s acquisition offer will be co-funded by a coalition of several other Saudi private investors.
