Senator Sakaja To Unveil Manifesto

To make it work, the senator has been talking about dividing Nairobi into boroughs.

Johnson Sakaja, a Nairobi senator and governor aspirant, will unveil his manifesto on Thursday, July 21st.

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) governor aspirant has announced on his social media pages that the manifesto will be announced at 8 p.m. and will be streamed live on television.

To make it work, the senator has been talking about dividing Nairobi into boroughs.

According to him, there will be four boroughs: East, West, South, and North.

If elected governor of Nairobi, the senator has also promised to protect the interests of hawkers.

“Enforcement officers have two months, after which they will be required to facilitate the small traders instead of harassing them,” Sakaja said.

“We will enact policies that will offer a growth opportunities and environment suitable for business within Nairobi County.”
