Milinkovic-Savic ‘Ready’ For Man United

According to journalist Conor Clancy, Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is’ready’ to join the club when the transfer window opens next month.

Erik ten Hag has taken over as United’s manager, and the Lazio midfielder Milinkovic-Savic could be his first signing since arriving in the Premier League.

What’s new in the Milinkovic-Savic case?

Manchester United are thought to be leading the race to sign Milinkovic-Savic, according to his agent, former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman, who revealed the Lazio man’s preferred destination is Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are up against French giants Paris Saint-Germain, who are looking to recoup as much as £59 million from Lazio.

Milinkovic-Savic has been earmarked as a long-term replacement for Paul Pogba, according to Italian media outlet Corriere della Sera, as reported by The Sun.

But, as Kezman admitted, ‘Sergej has no shortage of offers for the summer transfer window,’ implying that there could be even more suitors than Manchester United and PSG.

Milinkovic-£75,000-per-week Savic’s contract with Lazio is about to expire, putting his current employers in a strong negotiating position.
