Self help group Boss to answer to forgery charges in Ksh. 944 Million Donholm land tussle

BY PRUDENCE WANZA – The Chairperson Sowesava self-help group today appeared before court where he was expected to plead to charges of forgery in a land tussle belonging to Gidjoy Investments valued at Ksh. 944m.

However, he did not answer the charges due to stay orders issued by the high court.

The stay orders that involved parties can not be charged before any other court pending the hearing and determination of the case before them involving the parcel of land.

Alexander Hoops is expected to be charged with making a false document where he is alleged to have made a false allotment letter purporting it to be a genuine one signed by P.Amiani an administration police officer with the intention to defraud MS.Gidjoy investments a parcel of land in Nairobi.

He is further accused of making a false lease document of 11.8 acres of land situated in Donholm with the intention to defraud Gidjoy Investments.

He is also alleged to have forged the title deed of the said land parcel in Donholm with the intention to defraud Gidjoy Investments.

Alexander who appeared before Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku at the Milimani Law courts.

The court ruled that he takes plea on October 17th, when the high court will have determined the case before them involving the said land.
