Disbanded SSU Operatives Wait Longer As Missing Indians Case Adjourns

Eight detectives from the dismantled Special Service Unit (SSU) will have to wait a bit longer to know their fate.

This comes after the public prosecutor approached Kahawa Law Courts Chief Magistrate today with an application to adjourn the case for two months.

According to the ODPP, the forensic analysis of the swap collected from the officers is yet to be released.

The ODPP also informed the court that they were yet to conclude investigations into the matter.

The eight officers are alleged to have taken part in the abduction and disappearance of two Indians and a Kenyan driver in Kenya on the eve of the 2022 August general elections.

The whereabouts of the abducted Indians and their driver remains a mystery till to date.
The trial magistrate allowed the adjournment and the matter will be mentioned on June 13, 2023.
