Stormy Daniels Ordered To Pay Trump Ksh. 34.3 Million

A federal court ordered Stormy Daniels to pay Donald Trump $300,000 in attorney fees.

Trump expressed his delight with the news in a statement released on Monday, saying, “All I have to do now is wait for all of the money she owes me.”

“The case was a purely political stunt that never should have started, and I am delighted that my lawyers were able to bring it to a victorious close after the court thoroughly rejected her appeal.”

The verdict by the US Circuit Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit came after a lower court dismissed Daniels’ defamation complaint against Trump in 2006 after he contradicted her claims that they had sex.

The protracted court struggle has triggered a cascade of appeals, with counsel for both sides convicted of felonies.

Last month, US celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti was convicted guilty of defrauding Daniels of $300,000 for authoring a book about her alleged affair with Trump.

In 2018, Avenatti rose to prominence after advising Daniels after she alleged that then-President Trump had cheated on Melania Trump with Daniels and then paid her off to help him win the 2016 election.

Following a trial in Manhattan federal court in early February, the disgraced lawyer was found guilty of wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.

In 2018, Michael Cohen, Trump’s ten-year personal lawyer, was sentenced to three years in jail for, among other things, paying Daniels $130,000 to stay quiet about her alleged affair with Trump.

Campaign finance regulations were broken by the hush money, which was made just before the 2016 presidential election.
