A parent of Francisca Dokee, a 16-year-old student at Tala Girls High School in Matungulu, Machakos County, who committed suicide on Wednesday, is seeking justice, believing foul play was involved in her daughter’s death.
The mother of the girl, claimed her daughter was pushed to death and demands that schools handle issues differently.
According to a police report, the student’s body was discovered hanging from the roof of a dormitory raft after she was accused of stealing KSh2,500 and a box of pencils from a fellow student.
As investigations begin, police officers from Tala Police Station OCS visited the school and processed the scene.
At the scene, a suicide note, a nylon robe, and a head scuff were discovered and taken as evidence.
