Tammy Abraham to have medical today as he closer to joining AS Roma

While the transfer of Tammy Abraham to AS Roma from Chelsea seems to be confirmed, in particular with the arrival of Romelu Lukaku at the Blues and the departure of Romain Edin Dzeko at Inter Milan, Sky Italia has revealed details on the 23-year-old England striker’s transaction as well as contractual details.

The Three Lions international (6 caps, 1 goal) should arrive in Rome around 1 p.m. for his medical examination, before signing his 5-year contract and receiving a salary of between 4 and 5 million euros. It would be a final transfer valued at 40 million euros by the Italian media (plus bonus), Chelsea having a buyout clause of 80 million €, valid from June 2023.

It is understood the deal for Abraham, who was Chelsea’s joint top scorer last season, includes a buy-back clause set at £68m.

But that cannot be triggered until the 23-year-old Chelsea academy graduate has completed two seasons with Jose Mourinho’s team.
