Tanzanian Artists mourn the death of President Magufuli

Tanzanian Singer Harmonize has dedicated a moving tribute to the late president John Magufuli. The singer broke down in tears after the death of the fifth president of Tanzania was announced on Wednesday evening. – By Sharon Maina

In a one-minute tribute song shared on his YouTube channel, Harmonize praises Magufuli, thanking him for the great leadership.The artist performed at several public events which were graced by the late. He even released a song Magufuli, praising him for changing Tanzania.

Singer Rayvanny has also released a song Kifo, paying tribute to the late president. More artistes from Tanzania have hit the studio to pay tribute to their leader, who supported their music.

A video has gone viral of Harmonize wailing after receiving the sad news of the passing on President John Magufuli Pombe.

This didn’t go well with Kenyans who took to social to bash Harmonize, with some claiming he was just clout chasing. Some of the comments were:

Yes, it’s a heavy blow to Tz and it’s people but people who record themselves crying are purely attention seekers.

Despite all the comments we can clearly see that the late president John Maghufuli was a great man and the country has gone at a loss in large for his loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
