Tanzania’s National Hospital breaks silence over treating patients under tents

Muhimbili National Hospital has reacted to a viral photo circulating in the social media, picturing patients being treated under tents. 

The Hospital, through its Twitter account, stated that it has a system in place to spray pesticides on almost all areas of the hospital.


"The hospital has a routine of spraying various pesticides in the ward, offices and other outdoor areas twice a year, while the exercise is done, patients are taken out and placed under tents while other services are in progress, this is a regular and sustainable exercise," he said. stated the statement
