Marathoners have reported lost valuables worth millions of shillings in the concluded Beyond Zero Marathon.
The thieves, who appeared to operate a well knit cartel that included some rogue officers, stole the valuables as the police watched.
One chief inspector was heard saying that he had to secure his own phone from being stolen as Marathon participants scrambled for medals.
The police allowed an artificial commotion to reign during which wallets and phones were stolen.
Some NYS personal openly harassed anyone who dared to complain…telling them to look for their phones elsewhere.
Some even manhandled some of victims who dared to complain.
It is estimated more than two thousand mobile phones were stolen during the beyond zero Marathon.
