Police are looking into claims made by a businessman that he lost more than Sh5 million to suspected thugs who broke into his car in Thika Town.
Mathew Githinji, a businessman, said he had withdrawn Sh5.7 million from at least three banks and placed it in his car before driving to a public toilet nearby for a quick call.
When he walked back to the car he found the car broken into and the money missing. Police are investigating the claims.
