Written By Gerald Gekara | |

The upcoming TMall overpass is slated to improve the lives of Nairobians by providing a lasting solution to perennial traffic on Langata road.

The intersection, which has been notorious for endless traffic jams during rush hour has led to massive losses in revenue.

Road accidents, traffic snarl-ups and pollution are some of the problems Kenyans experience in Nairobi.

Nearly Ksh. 50 million is lost daily in traffic jams. The amount translates to an 18.25 billion loss annually.

Once complete, the overpass will redirect traffic, therefore, providing relief for motorists and the economy at large.

The project is being built by acclaimed Spanish firm Centunion, and is set for completion in 2024.

KENHA is supervising the construction and has assured of a fast-paced construction process.
