Kiambu county, at Gachie shopping center, a kid aged 9 years was reportedly saved from the hands of a kidnapper at around 6:35 pm

The man admitted that the kid belonged to his brother.
When the conductor stopped the vehicle, a huge crowd gathered at the scene to find out what’s happening. The suspect later said that he didn’t know the child and wasn’t related to him.
Reportedly from the look of things, it seemed like the suspect had drugged the child and had boarded the matatu with the minor.
Recently there has been an increase in the number of cases whereby kids get lost under unclear circumstances.
Most of the kidnappers usually target kids playing alone and away from their parents and homes.
No one knows where they’re taken to because in very few cases kidnappers have asked for a ransom.
To avoid such cases, always be watch out for your kid. Make sure you know who he/she is playing with and where.
