Residents and Motorists plying the Kitale – Kachibora – Kapchero – Makutano road, have experienced snarl ups spanning to kilometers after a landslide blocked a section of the link road.
The incident that happened at the Chugor area of Marakwet East, has greatly disrupted Traffic flow of goods and people in the area.
No fatalities have been reported, as traffic police stationed at the busy road remain vigilant and diverting traffic to other routes.
The landslide comes barely a month after WEST Pokot landslide left over 100 people dead while many others forced to sleep in the cold.
