Two people are receiving treatment at Machakos Level 5 hospital after an accident that occured along the Nairobi – Mombasa Highway.
The night accident involved two trailers that collided head on and burst to flames causing the fire to spread towards another lorry and two personal vehicles.
According to Henry Kiremi the Nursing officer incharge at the Emergency Department one of the patient was in stable condition while the second one was being stabilized.
Mr. Phillip Ngila, the survivor said their trailer was coming from Nairobi headed to Mombasa when the accident happened in Kiongowani area, after Salama along the Nairobi Mombasa Highway.
