TRANSFER ROUND-UP: Rodrygo, Gyökeres Eyed by Arsenal, City Target Gibbs-White

Arsenal have joined the race for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, who is reportedly open to leaving the Spanish giants this summer.

According to Relevo, the Brazilian is also attracting interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.

In anticipation of Rodrygo’s potential departure, Madrid have identified Desire Doué of PSG as a prime replacement. The 18-year-old forward, also admired by Manchester United, could cost over €100m (£85.2m), Fichajes reports.

Manchester City are preparing for the post-Kevin De Bruyne era and have stepped up their pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest. They are also eyeing James Maddison of Tottenham, with a potential offer of €65m (£55.4m) being considered.

Casemiro could be in line for a significant pay boost if Manchester United win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League, according to The Mirror. That success could also boost United’s hopes of signing Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo, per Football365.

Chelsea are preparing a €60m (£51.1m) bid for Brentford’s in-demand forward Bryan Mbeumo, who has scored 18 Premier League goals this season. The Cameroonian is also being watched by Arsenal, United, Liverpool, and Newcastle.

Arsenal have already submitted an official offer of €60m for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres, though the club are demanding closer to his €100m buyout clause.

Elsewhere, Bournemouth have entered the race for Joan Garcia of Espanyol, Real Madrid plan to part ways with David Alaba, and Jamie Vardy could land in MLS with the New York Red Bulls.

Spurs coach Ryan Mason is being eyed by West Brom, while United and Tottenham are battling for 16-year-old Jake Evans. Aston Villa are scouting Porto forward Samu Aghehowa, also tracked by Chelsea and Arsenal.
