Arsenal have been dealt another injury blow less than two hours before today’s North London Derby at the Emirates Stadium against Tottenham Hotspur.
Forward Leandro Trossard was not to be found as Arsenal players made their way from the team van into the stadium, according to football.london.
There was also no sight of Gabriel Martinelli, which means the Brazilian has now missed two games in a row.
Trossard scored one goal and assisted another in a Champions League triumph over PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night. Mikel Arteta is scheduled to address his possible absence before kickoff.
The Belgian aroused concerns about his fitness on Friday when he was not spotted in the club’s most recent series of training photos.
It appears that the former Brighton player has sustained an injury.
Martinelli was forced off in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Everton last weekend after suffering a hamstring injury.
He appears to be out of today’s game after skipping training at London Colney on Friday.
