Two thousand seven hundred and one (2,701) sheep and goats that had been reported stolen by bandits were found in Turkana County by the National Police Service joint operation team.

“The recovery was realized after a relentless pursuit of the bandits by the team,” said NPS.

“The livestock was positively identified and handed over to the owners with the help of the local administration,” NPS added.

To maintain peace and security in the area, NPS patrols have been stepped up, and they are grateful for the locals’ support as they work to put an end to banditry and livestock rustling throughout the nation.
