Police officers based at Rhonda Police Station in Nakuru West have arrested two suspected members of the notorious “Confirm” gang in a targeted operation aimed at curbing rising insecurity in the area.
The suspects, identified as John Omondi alias “Daddy” and Samuel Kamau alias “Pino,” were apprehended following a tip-off while allegedly robbing members of the public.
According to police, the two are believed to be part of the Confirm gang, a criminal group linked to a series of violent incidents in Nakuru West. Investigators say the duo has been on the radar for some time and is suspected to have been involved in multiple offences, including robbery with violence and murder.
The arrests come as part of ongoing intelligence-led operations targeting organised criminal networks in the region.
The two suspects are now in custody and have been joined by an alleged accomplice, James Nduati alias “Jemu,” who was arrested earlier and is also being held in connection with the gang’s activities.
Detectives are currently processing the suspects as they work to build a strong case ahead of their arraignment in court.
Police say the operation underscores their continued efforts to dismantle criminal syndicates and restore security in affected areas.
