Two more wardens were Tuesday arrested over the escape of three convicts who were serving jail terms for terrorism-related crimes from Kamiti prisons.
This increases to nine, the number of those in custody over the incident that saw Musharraf Abdalla Akhulunga a.k.a Zarkarawi, Mohammed Ali Abikar and Joseph Juma Odhiambo a.k.a Yusuf escape even as the DCI placed Sh60 million bounty on their recapture.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i led a senior security team to Kamiti prison Monday evening and announced a massive manhunt involving specialized teams across the country.
He said the terrorists may have been aided to escape.
