Wesley Kogo, a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) aspirant vying for the Nandi Hills parliamentary seat, has died.
Kogo died in a tragic road accident in Kangemi, Nairobi.
His family confirmed that he was on his way to a local radio station for an interview.
The deceased’s body was transported to City Mortuary, where a postmortem examination will be performed to determine the cause of death.
“We thought we had finally found a leader who would restore the leadership and lost glory of our constituency. Our thoughts, hopes and dreams have suddenly been cut short… What a tragedy! What a loss! RIP my friend,” residents mourned him on social media pages.
