David Wakikona, a Ugandan Member of Parliament (MP) who went missing after taking a taxi in Nairobi, has been found.

Kilimani OCPD Andrew Muturi confirmed that Wakikona was found by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Muturi added that the lawmaker had already returned to Uganda safely.

“He picked a taxi in Nairobi to run errands but switched off his phone and took a flight to Eldoret to see a sick relative before heading back to Uganda,” the OCPD said.

David Wakikona, the Bukigia MP, was reported missing after he boarded an online taxi from Kilimani.

The MP was reported missing at Kilimani Police Station after his colleagues failed to trace him.

He had checked in at Samura Court along Argwings Kodhek road on October 3 together with his colleagues.
