President Uhuru Kenyatta is anticipated to leave politics in 2022, with a number of aspirants already circling his neck, plotting how they will succeed him when he steps down next year.
Right now, the president and his deputy, William Ruto, are at odds, especially following the March 2018 handshake agreement between him and Raila Odinga, the leader of the ODM Party, with whom they have a new political connection.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi, claimed there was an exhaustive strategy that will stop Ruto from seizing power in 2022.
Ahmednasir Abdullahi said in a social media message that Uhuru’s deadly strategy to thwart Ruto includes preventing two politicians from competing for the top job: Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and ANC party master Musalia Mudavadi.
“H.E UHURU’S SOLE strategy to stop DP RUTO taking over in 2022 is to arm-twist Hon Mudavadi & Musyoka to forgo a good chance of becoming our 5th President in favor of Hon Raila.”
He was perplexed as to why the two (Musalia and Kalonzo) would willingly be sacrificed in order for Mr. Odinga to be elected president at their expense.
