President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to lead the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Cadets Commissioning Parade this morning.
The Cadet Pass Out Parade will be held at the Academy for the 320 cadets who have completed their training.
The event, which will be held under Covid-19 pandemic regulations, has been made more secure.
The president, who has been on a journey to Mozambique, South Africa, and Uganda since November 18, arrived in the country last evening ahead of the ceremony.
The president travelled around the world on several state visits to strengthen Kenya ties with her allies.
He is now attempting to find a solution to the Ethiopian crisis involving the national government and the Tigray people, which has resulted in many people being displaced.
